La Policía informó que se entregó la tarde de ayer, a través de un abogado, uno de los supuestos integrantes de la banda que encabeza el presunto narcotraficante Junior Minaya Germán “Gilbert”. Al grupo se le atribuye la comisión de múltiples hechos delictivos, incluyendo la muerte de cuatro s en Las Palmas, de Herrera, en Santo Domingo Oeste.
De acuerdo al informe, contra Joan Rafael Minaya (El Topo), existen varias órdenes de arresto por su presunta participación en la muerte de tres alegados narcotraficantes y de una cuarta persona que se encontraba próximo al lugar donde se originó la balacera.
Dijo que Minaya se entregó ante la Dirección Central de Investigaciones Criminales (DICRIM), a través de un abogado que tiene a su cargo su representación legal.
Precisó que Minaya es parte de la banda que encabeza “Gilbert” e integran otros sólo identificados como “Morenito”, “Bomi”, “Darío” y “Jefry”.
La institución dijo que la semana pasada la banda de “Gilbert” envió a la Policía Nacional dos pistolas, dos escopetas y cuatro chalecos antibalas.
El informe detalla que los pertrechos fueron entregados por los prófugos en el referido sector a familiares, un abogado y representante de los derechos humanos, desde donde fueron traslados a la institución del orden, por la madre y el abogado de “Gilbert”, quien también se encuentra prófugo. La entrega se realizó en presencia de un representante del Ministerio Público.
Dijo que los pertrechos entregados son las pistolas marca Arcus, calibre nueve milímetro, número 23GH400757 y otra de marca ilegible, No. 977697, calibre 380, dos escopetas calibre 12, numeración y marca limadas, cuatros chalecos antibalas, siete capsulas, calibre nueve milímetro y cuatro capsulas calibre 380.
Indicó que “Gilbert” también está subjúdice (pendiente de juicio) por homicidio, tras ser acusado de asesinar a un hombre en una discoteca de Herrera, cuya próxima audiencia se conocerá el día 21 de este mes.
